Tides of numenera best companions7/25/2023 ![]() ![]() As an intellect-heavy PC, Erritis brought the might and Matkina the speed for gameplay purposes (Rhin is largely useless statwise until some character developments.)Īligern is fairly cool, and a decent might substitute if you decide you don't like Erritis. I played the majority of the game with Rhin, Erritis (MASTER CHRIS MUTHAFUCKIN' AVELLONE SON) and Matkina. Are there other skills I should focus on to see the most content of the game? I would have liked to play a jack but the nano are the only ones with the ability to read other people minds. Am I the only one to think it’s a dumb decision? Is it possible to switch characters just to do their quests? As I understood only the companions you keep with you can gain XP. ![]() What is the most interesting nano to keep at beginning of the game when you must choose between two of them?Īre there other tips that I should know to make sure I don’t miss something cool? What are the most interesting characters to keep around? Also maybe some companions are just more fun to keep around because of their dialogues. What I fear is to discover after I finished the game that there is this super cool quest that I missed because I should have talk to a specific NPC while having a specific companion with me. I already decided to keep Rhin around because I’m a fan of Patrick Rothfuss. Specifically what companions do you think are the most interesting to keep around? What I’m asking is subjective, I don’t care about the stats. So I’m asking for some tips to maximize my experience. The thing is I read a little about this game (I tried not to spoil myself) and it seems that the game has been designed to be played several times to see everything. ![]() My dilemma is that I never play the same game twice because life is short and I’m busy but mostly it’s because I find it tedious. So I’m thinking about buying this game because I’m a fan of the previous Torment game and also because I played the Numenera pen and paper RPG so I’d like to see what it looks like in a video game. ![]()
